3 Tips for Picking Music for Your Wedding

Hint #1: Select music which you LOVE!

It's important to have discussions with your spouse to pick upon parts of music which you LOVE to obey.  No matter if you're into classic jazz, even if you're into country, if you're into easy melodies, or whether you're into heavy metal, select pieces which show your characters.  Naturally, to get a wedding ceremony, think about choosing pieces of music which match the atmosphere (church vs hallway).   If you're experiencing trouble selecting bits, ask other people for ideas.

Hint #2: Do not be worried about "being cliche"

As a professional artist, I can't tell you how many occasions I have been requested to carry out these bits: Canon in D Major, Ave Maria, The Wedding March (Mendelssohn OR Wagner).  I am not complaining at least, consider me!

If you love the noises of this scale rhythms of Canon in D or even love the familiarity of this Wedding March, then don't enable this natural attraction in those musical selections: in the close of the afternoon, the musical selections that provide you the maximum significance and pleasure is going to be the bits of audio you may remember for the rest of your life!  (particularly when you've got a videographer on-hand to catch the magic of this moment!)

Hint #3: If you're stuck, request assistance!

Let us face it, there are numerous choices to be made throughout the preparation stages of any wedding day!  Musical selections for your reception or ceremony may be in the bottom of the list.

Within my performance career (of 15  years), lots of newly-engaged couples have asked questions regarding the songs which would suit their demands, particularly for the wedding service.  In every situation, I offer a great "go-to" listing with a number of the most-popular bits and YouTube clips.

In case you've got a piece in mind for the wedding service or reception, but you're not certain if the item will do the job for a distinct musical instrument combination, do not be scared to ask.  Fantastic wedding photographers will always reply with their frank view; in some situations, a compromise could be fulfilled to help make the perfect ambience for the big moment!
